Teaching Assistant (Maths & English Interventions)

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to deliver targeted interventions in Maths and English throughout year 6, supporting pupils across a range of needs, including but not limited to Special Educational Needs.

We are looking for:

• A qualified and enthusiastic team player to work under the direction of the Headteacher, delivering Maths and English interventions to support children with a variety of learning needs

• Someone who is passionate about active, engaging learning that builds confidence and motivates pupils to succeed

• An individual with empathy, integrity and a genuine dedication to supporting young people through challenges

• A confident communicator who can work effectively with colleagues, parents, carers and external professionals

• A colleague with strong ICT skills to support learning and assessment

• Experience of supporting children in Year 6, particularly with preparation for SATs, would be an advantage

This is a fixed-term position for 9 months.
