Safeguarding
If parents have safeguarding concerns out of school hours or during holiday periods then we advise:
In an emergency with immediate risk to a child, call the police on 999;
Make an online referral to the Suffolk MASH;
If you are worried about a child contact the NSPCC 0808 800 5000 or make an online referral;
Or contact the Emergency Duty Service in Suffolk on 0808 800 4005.
Safeguarding of pupils is the top priority for our schools. Each school has a named Safeguarding Governor and the Tilian Partnership has a named Safeguarding Trustee, Carolyn Tester.
The Safeguarding Trustee and the CEO, who is the Trust's Safeguarding Lead, meet on at least a termly basis to review procedures, policies and support for the Trust schools. This work includes analysis of audits and surveys, and reviews of the Safeguarding Policy in light of changes to Keeping Children Safe in Education and other regulations. This information is then reported to the Trust Board for approval of policies and decisions to be taken.
For further information please read the Tilian Safeguarding Policy on the policies section of this web site or visit the school's website to read their own Child Protection Policy.
